There are a total of 12 rooms and 2 rooms with private outdoor bath. All rooms are non-smoking and equipped with toilets and ventilation. The ryokan was fully renovated in 2017.

Mt. Tanigawa is the symbol of Minakami, with an altitue of 1977m and different landscape can be seen depending on the season. In winter, it is covered with deep snow and contiues so until summer. In the fall, fall foliage covers the mountains. The best season for trekking is from July to November. There is also a ropeway.

December to March is a snow fall season. Studless tires and tire chains are highly recommended.

Is there any transportation service from the station?
We provide transportation service from Minakami station to the ryokan.

Please make a reservation in advance so that we can guide you to the ryokan as soon as you arrive to the station.
Please use the shuttle bus available according to the schedule of Shinkansen from Jomo-Kogen to Minakami station.
What time is Check-In? Is there an early Check-In service?
Check -In time is from 15:00. Please Check - In by 18:00 if you have dinner reservations.
We do not provide early Check-In service. We apologize in advance for any inconvenience.
Is there anything to note for visits during winter?
From end of December, there will by heavy snow. Snow tires are required.
Is the ryokan able to keep my luggage before Check - In and after Check - Out ?
We will keep at the reception.
Please note that overnight luggage storage is not provided.
Are there any non-smoking rooms?
Smoking is not permitted in the ryokan or the rooms (including electric cigarettes).
We provide ash tray in the parking area outside the lobby entrance.
Is there a café?
We have a lounge area on the 1st floor, offering coffee, soft drinks and beer.
Is there a curfew?
The gates close at 23:00.
How can I secure my valuables?
Please use the safety box provided in the room.
Is there a Wi-Fi?
Free Wi-Fi is available. The staff will inform you the ID and password at the time of Check-In.
What kind of amenities are available in the room?
"Samue" Traditional Japanese style pajamas and "Tabi" Traditional Japanese style socks are available.
Bath towels, shampoos, conditioners, shower caps, razors, toothbrushes and hairbrushes are all available in the room.
Do you provide children's wear?
We do not provide children's wear. We apologize in advance for any inconvenience.
Is there a refrigerator in the room?
It is available in all rooms.
Are there any convenience stores nearby?
Unfortunately, there is none within walking distance. The closest one is 5 minutes by car.
Is it a natural hot spring?
Yes, it is a natural hot spring.
It contains calcium and sodium sulfate and effective for arteriosclerosis, cuts, burns and chronic skin diseases.
Is it possible to make private reservations to use the entire common bath?
Yes, you can reserve for free. Please request at the time of Check - In.
It is available from 15:00 to 23:00.

No, there are only futon mattresses available.

There are 2 types of twin rooms available with outdoor baths.

Half of our rooms are equipped with standard baths. Please contact us via phone or email for requesting a room with a bath.
Is there a conference room?
There is no conference room available but the dining area may be used. Please contact us in advance.
Is there a laundry service?
No. There is no laundry service.
What time do you serve breakfast/dinner?
Dinner is served in 2 different sessions. At 18:00 and at 19:00.
